There was a mild drama at the Meeting organised by the Leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC in the Southwest, where the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola refused to greet the National Secretary of the Party, Otunba Iyiola Omisore.
It should be recalled, that the Leaders of the Party in the Southwest, organised the meeting to unite the Presidential Aspirants in the southwest zone, ahead of the 2023 Presidential race.
However, It was reported by Punch that Aregbesola refused to shake hands with Otunba Iyiola Omisore at the meeting.
It was also reported, that Aregbesola asked the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, where he supposed to sit down and the Governor replied him, to sit beside Omisore but Aregbesola failed to sit beside him.
Though, It was reported that Aregbesola greeted the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC and the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu but also failed to greet the Governor of Osun State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Present at the meeting, are the Former Interim National Chairman of the Party, Chief Bisi Akande, the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba, All the APC Presidential Aspirants in southwest and the southwest APC Governors.
