Tambuwal emerges DG for PDP presidential campaign council

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has constituted its presidential campaign Organisation, Thursday evening.

The organisation will be chaired by the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.

The National Organising Secretary of the party, Capt. Umar Bature, who signed the document confirmed its authenticity to News Men.

The organisation will be deputised by the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed – for the northern region. The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, will deputise for the organisation in the South.

The list also has Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, as its Director-General.

Others are Sen. Liyel Imoke as Deputy Director-General Operations, Prof. Adewale Oladipo, Deputy Director-General administration, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Deputy Director-General Technical and systems, Okwesilieze Nwodo, Deputy Director-General, Research and Strategy.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has given political parties September 28, 2022 for official commencement of national campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections.
