Popular thespian, Lateef Adedimeji, has poured cold water on the news that he welcomed a baby with his actress wife, Adebimpe Oyebade better known as Mo Bimpe.
The talented actor addressed the rumour on social media recently, insisting the news that his wife put to bed is a fake one.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared the picture of his wife and his alleged child making the rounds on social media.
He then denied the report and wondered why anyone would cook up such a lie.
According to Lateef Adedimeji, the picture showing his wife’s baby bump is a photo of the actress on a movie set, he also added that he does not know whose baby was being portrayed as their child in the post.
He went on to say it’s crazy that people take delight in peddling unfounded rumours and asserted his own baby will come soon.
In his words, “This is a picture of her on set, and the baby. Only God knows whose baby this is. It’s crazy how people carry fake news. Hers will soon come, so stop spreading fake rumors”.
Nollywood stars, Lateef Adedimeji and Bimpe Oyebaded tied the nuptial knot in December 2021 in a somewhat secret but elegant event, after which they bombarded the internet with pictures and videos of the ceremony.
The celebrities had initially announced on their social media pages that their traditional and Islamic wedding (Nikkai) ceremonies would come up on Saturday, December 18 and 22, 2021, respectively.
After the event, they continued to treat their fans and social media users to romantic photos and videos before their wedding finally took place.
