The first edition of the Oluyole Festival was a huge success, taking place on December 15-17, 2022. The festival, created by Folarin Laosun, CEO of Filmtrique Media, in partnership with Thaoban and many more, featured a variety of exciting events that celebrated the rich culture of Ibadan.

One of the highlights of the festival was the unveiling of the Oluyole icon to the Olubadan of Ibadan, a traditional leader of the city. Attendees also enjoyed cultural activities such as bata dance and a masquerade display, as well as a golf tournament.

The festival was proudly sponsored by AMNI PETROLEUM, Bayice watch, and Smyle graphics, and received support from the state government and endorsement from the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII).

Overall, the Oluyole Festival was a fantastic celebration of the city’s culture and heritage, and we can’t wait for the next edition in 2023.
