Breaking: Mr. Macaroni Approaches Court To Sue An APC Supporter For Insult And Defamation

Mr. Debo Abebayo, a frontline comedy celebrity supporter of Peter Obi’s candidacy known as “Mr. Macaroni,” has taken a legal step to sue an APC supporter known as “Qudus Akanbi” for defamation of character and false accusations of collecting seven million naira from Peter Obi.

Macaroni, who made this public on his Twitter page, said that “of all the people that attack him daily, he singled out Qudus and one other Sadiq for false accusations.” He confirmed in his tweet that Sadiq has received his letter and a suit will follow soon as they are yet to get a response, while Qudus is yet to receive his letter because he couldn’t get his house address and legal name. He further claims that he has received insults daily from Asiwaju supporters since the day he unveiled his preferred presidential candidate, who is in the Labor Party.

It’s likely to be recalled that Mr Macaroni was one of the Frontline members who led the campaign process at the toll gate, which was the epicenter of the nationwide protests of EndSars, despite a ban on public gatherings and heavy security presence.
