The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Peter Fayose, was in Lagos State for Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s re-election campaign ahead of the gubernatorial election slated for Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The former governor had earlier declared his support for Sanwo-Olu, saying that he has the experience to lead Lagos and that none of his rivals can match him.

The former governor addressed the workers at the airport and promised them that all their grievances would be addressed by Sanwo-Olu immediately after he entered for the second time.

The media aide to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat, posted a video of the event on his Twitter handle.

“Yesterday, the former Governor of Ekiti State, @GovAyoFayose took the #SanwoLekansi message to the Transport Workers at the Local Airports in Lagos together with Mr Governor.

“Governor @jidesanwoolu listened to some issues raised by the transport workers, and he promised to address them.

“Mr. Fayose recently endorsed Governor @jidesanwoolu and has been canvassing for votes for him everywhere,” he captioned the video.
