Breaking: Akeredolu Hands over power to Deputy Governor, Ayedatiwa

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has handed over the government of Ondo state to his deputy Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In a letter transmitted to the State House of Assembly and addressed to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, Governor Akeredolu informed the lawmakers he will proceed on a 15 – working day vacation as the first installment of his 2023 Annual Leave.

The governor noted that the leave will commence from Monday, the 3rd to Tuesday, 25th April 2023.

He will resume duties on Wednesday, 26th April 2023.

Aiyedatiwa will now perform the functions of the office of the Governor from today till Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
