Immediate past Osun Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has hailed the former Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, for his commitment to public service and humanity.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Ismail Omipidan, Oyetola described Prof. Adewole as a distinguished son of Osun and thanked him for his service and contributions to the development of the State.

He particularly thanked him for accepting to lead the Osun APC Committee that was set up about six days ago to reposition the party in the State for effective delivery, saying posterity will be kind to him for accepting to be part of history.

Oyetola further noted that the former minister, a professor of medicine and a former University of Ibadan vice-chancellor, had while in office dedicated his time to the relentless pursuit of good health for Nigerians, especially the weak and the vulnerable.

“Prof. Isaac Adewole is a distinguished son of the land and we are proud to be associated with him. He is a thoroughbred academic and an astute administrator, whose professionalism, humility and dedication to service are worthy of emulation.

“On behalf of my family and the APC family in Osun, I felicitate him on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, and thank him for his service and contributions to the development and progress of the State.

“I pray to God to grant him more wisdom, long life and good health that will enable him to continue to serve the people and humanity,” Oyetola added.
