There are strong indications that the crisis between the market women otherwise known as Iyalojas and Governor Ademola Adeleke may snowball into a large scale one that could lead to a break down of law and order.

The governor, yesterday, announced the removal of the incumbent Iyaloja -General (leader of market women) without indicating any reason for the removal.

But in a swift reaction, Alhaja Awawu Asindemade, whose removal was announced by the governor on Thursday, has vowed not to heed to the announcement of the governor, saying that their association was an NGO and therefore not a department under the state government that was subjected to whims and caprices of overzealous politicians.
