Just in: Buhari Honors Osun Monarch Olowu of Kuta with National Award

President Muhammadu Buhari has granted National Honours to deserving Nigerians and individuals who have shown support to Nigeria in various categories, according to AMILOADED’s report.

The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs published a circular on Sunday announcing the recipients.

Among them is Oba Abdulhameed Oyelude Makama Tegbosun III, the Olowu of Owu Kuta in Osun State, who has been awarded the prestigious Commander of the Order of Niger (CON). He holds the 35th position on the list of awardees.

In a recent ceremony, Buhari also bestowed national honours upon the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, who received the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR), and the Vice-President-elect, Kashim Shettima, who was honored with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).
