PDP will not stay in power beyond 4 years in Osun -APC Chieftain

The Osogbo Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Saheed Onibonokuta, has said that Gov. Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led government will not spend more than four years in power in Osun.

Onibonokuta said that APC would wrestle power from the PDP in 2026 governorship election in the state, He said that no effort would be spared to ensure that the party return to power to continue the good work.

According to him, the PDP-led government in the state has failed the people, hence the clamour by the people for the return of the APC come 2026.

Onibonokuta, a former chairman of Osogbo local government also said that APC under the leadership of Mr Gboyega Oyetola, the current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy was waxing stronger and preparing to return back to power.

” Osun people now see the difference between APC and PDP in the state.
” Osun people deserve better than what they are getting now and that is why they are clamouring for the return of APC in the state.
” PDP and Gov. Ademola Adeleke-led government are not after the welfare of workers and pensioners in the state.

” Even the money being received from federation account are not being utilised for the benefit of the people and that is why we are preparing to rescue our people come 2026″, he said.

Onibonokuta also said that members of the party in the state were now United, purposeful and determine to work for the victory of the party.

” More than ever, we are now United under the leadership of our leader, Oyetola, who has instructed us to continue to work for the stability and victory of the party in the state.

” I can say categorically, that with the yearning of the people of the state for the return of the APC to power, PDP will not spend more four years in the state.

” We will restore the lost hope of our people and ensure that they get what they truly deserved.
” People of the state are now regretting that they voted Adeleke to power because of his bad attitude to the welfare of the people.
“As a governor, Adeleke cannot function without first of take permission from power that be in Ede.

” This is unfortunate and that is why people are clamouring for the return of APC”, he said.
Onibonokuta, however, urged members of the party to continue to support Mr Tajudeen Lawal, the chairman of the party in the state for APC to succeed.

He said the support of all the progressives members for the chairman was important for the progress of the party in the state.
