In a warm congratulatory message, Dr. Amidu Tadese Raheem, a former Commissioner of Water Resources and Energy under the immediate past administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration, Fountain University Osogbo ( FUO), has felicitates with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola ( CON)on his worthy recognition of a prestigious Renaissance Award by Ilesa Grammar School Old Students Association during it’s 90years anniversary.
Dr. Amidu Tadese recall that, it was HE Gboyega Oyetola during his time as governor that reverted the unpopular policy of his immediate Predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who changed the name of all schools under the guise of ” Mega schools Policy “which directly and indirectly affected the quality of education and adversely increase the social problems within the schools.
Dr. Amidu Tadese Raheem, remarked that, the giant stride taken by Oyetola to revert the so called ” mega schools” to their previous names and uniform which made him a hero of educational excellence.
Oyetola has done creditably well and posterity will not forget the likes of him.
Oyetola will receive garlands and accolades for his vision and proactive efforts at restoring the lost glory to our schools that many across the world consider as citadel of excellence. Tadese Concluded.
