Olaoluwa Calls for Peaceful Coexistence As Muslim Ummah Celebrates Eid-kabir

Osun state Commissioner for Rural Developments and Community Affairs Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa has called for peaceful coexistence and unity as muslims Ummah celebrate eid-el-kabir.

Olaoluwa gave the charge in a sallah message issued and personally signed and made available with journalists in Osogbo on Sunday.

Recognizing the significance of this holy celebration, Olaoluwa emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, harmony, and unity among all communities.

“Eid-al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for Muslims to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is a period marked by prayer, reflection, and acts of charity. He highlighted these values in his message, urging everyone to draw inspiration from the spirit of sacrifice and generosity that defines this festival”

“Eid-al-Adha is a profound reminder of the values of sacrifice, compassion, and community. It is a time for all of us to come together, regardless of our differences, and foster a spirit of unity and understanding.”

He called on people of all faiths and backgrounds to use this occasion as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity.

“In these times of global challenges, it is more important than ever to embrace peaceful coexistence and work towards a world where harmony prevails. Let us celebrate our diversity and uphold the principles of respect and tolerance.”

The Osogbo born politician reminded the islamic faithfuls of the importance of charitable acts, especially during the festive season, urging Ummah to remember those in need and extend their heartfelt support to them, saying, cts of kindness and generosity not only uplift others but also enrich our own lives.

“In conclusion, i expressed my best wishes for a joyous and peaceful Eid-al-Adha. He urged everyone to reflect on the values of the festival and to strive for a world where unity and peace are cherished and maintained”
